After a 33 year career as Engineer, Sales and Management, with the last 16 years as Executive/ Owner in the Material and Production Handling Equipment industry, Mark retired from the industry to accept the position of General Manager of the Lakewood Holding Company and the Lakewood Property Owners Association in 2011. During the two years prior to 2011, Mark was President of the Board of Lakewood Holding Company, Inc. and Lakewood Property Owners Association, Inc.

As a loyal staff member for 25 years, Kem has been with Lakewood Oaks since September 1992. She reconciles the daily sales, accounts receivable, prepares member statements, maintains member files, accounts payable, and coordinates payroll & budgeting.

Lakewood’s Head Golf Pro Brian holds degrees in Professional Golf Management and Marketing from New Mexico State University. He has served in the industry for 18 years, including 8 at Lakewood.

James went to Lee’s Summit West High School. He is currently in the PGA program, is a certified golf coach and club fitter. For the last 4 years he’s taught golf and worked at resort courses in Orange Beach, AL.

From St. Joseph, MO graduated from Cornell College in 2024 with a degree in Kinesiology Exercise Science. Interned and worked in the golf industry for the past 3 years in CO at The Club at Rolling Hills and in Iowa at Brown Deer Golf Club. Currently in the PGA program, is a certified golf coach.

Madison went to Lee’s Summit High School and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management from Missouri State University. She is a seasoned hospitality professional with over 10 years of experience and possesses strong leadership, excellent communication, and problem-solving skills in the dynamic and constantly evolving Industry. She strives to go above and beyond for clients to cultivate exceptional guest experiences through innovative service strategies and exceptional customer service.

Steve Griesinger has been with Lakewood Oaks for 23 years. Growing up in Albany, MO, he found love for golf and management. After graduating from NWMSU, he went on to pursue employment in the golfing industry. Steve accepted a position with Lakewood in 1994. As Superintendent since 2000 he has worked to make Lakewood one of the most beautiful golf courses in the area. He lives in Grain Valley with his wife, Stephanie, and his two children Zack (20) and Sammi (17). He looks forward to seeing you on the course.

Nate holds a degree in turf management. Specializes in irrigation, holds numerous spraying licenses, and assists in every facet of golf course maintenance. Nate has served with Lakewood for 7 years, including 5 as the 1st Assistant Superintendent.

As an avid golfer, Conner has been at Lakewood for over 5 years, including three as 2nd Assistant Superintendent. He holds a Grounds and Turf Maintenance degree from Longview Community College, and Holds state certified chemical applicators licence.

As the employee with the longest tenure at Lakewood, Mike has been with Lakewood for 39 years as a mechanic. He describes working as a technician solving mechanical problems as a rewarding job. I enjoy mountain biking, fishing, and bowhunting in my free time. My wonderful wife Deb and two beautiful daughters mean the world to me.
